In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we declare that the day is not a "day off" but a "day on." We typically gather on the Monday holiday and engage a project that serves the local community.

Racial Disparities in Health Care
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declared the racial disparities in health care a public health crisis. What does this look like in Holland? Thanks for joining us on Sunday, January 17 at 3pm for this virtual event. Presented by the ACEH- Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony in collaboration with the 1 Corinthians 13 Project and in partnership with the Holland Museum's Cultural Lens series. To honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the event included music by the Maple Avenue Ministries ensemble and a recitation of Dr. King's words on health and racism. |
