Reverend Emily Scatterday Holehan
Rev. Emily Scatterday Holehan is the Pastor of Flourishing at Maple Avenue Ministries, joining the team in May 2019 in this part-time position.
Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where she received a BA in religion and Spanish. After working for Young Life in the Dominican Republic for five years, she attended and graduated from Western Theological Seminary, earning her Masters in Divinity. She was ordained to the Office of Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Reformed Church in America in June 2019.
Emily shares life with her husband, Brad Holehan, and their two young kids, Hannah and Judah. She also occasionally serves as an Assistant Teaching Instructor of the Hebrew language at Western Theological Seminary. Emily enjoys hiking with her family, singing Hebrew prayers, sipping coffee, being outside (especially in the fall), maps, books, and meals with friends.
