We'll talk with two guests:

  • Rev. Kate Kooyman, an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America, worked for a number of years in the Social Justice Office of the Christian Reformed Church. Among other things, she can help us understand what the Bible has to say about immigrants.

  • Mr. David Lee is the co-executive director of Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates here in Holland. An immigrant himself, he can offer both personal and professional insights into the immigrant experience.

After the service, Mr. Lee will offer a one-hour workshop in the Blue Room that will help us understand the immigration system, what is happening with immigration policy today, and how churches can best respond. There will be some snacks to tide you over until you get home for lunch. Please join us!
