There is a lot to celebrate. Four worship team leads attended the CICW Worship Symposium. 75% of the Worship Team Leads completed team specific worship statements. Bulletin boards highlighting the scope of the grant and the first songwriting workshop have been created. Two church-wide devotionals were launched -- one on Lent and one on the Holy Spirit. The 1st Song Writing workshop was a huge success: the night before the workshop was an unscripted worship night; we had proposed 5 people participating in the song writing workshop, but we ended up with 15 participants; two new songs were produced with one being debuted on Sunday, June 1 during morning worship. The song -- Living Water -- was a collaborative effort by a team that was both multicultural and intergenerational.

Our first visual art installation "It is Finished" was a Lenten project that involved the whole church culminating in a banner presented to the congregation on Easter. The teachers for the Children and Youth ministry had a team development meeting. A dance workshop was held coinciding with the song writing workshop. Tech team had a team development meeting. Men's Bible Study and Women's Bible study met regularly. E-blast and church announcements related to the grant were made. A church-wide survey (Scatter Made to Flourish) was launched in May as part of consistory and team lead development -- with the bonus of extending to the whole church.
